“Melody of Hammond” is a unique confection accented with raisins and sweet bean paste.
Its name is inspired by the Hammond organ often played by Koseki.
With its moist, crumbly texture and subtle rum flavor, it pairs perfectly with coffee or tea. A refined treat especially suited for adults.

“Fukushima Yakyoku (Serenade)” is a galette-style pastry filled with syruped apples.
Its name is inspired by Koseki’s song, “Fukushima Yakyoku (Fukushima’s Serenade).”
Delicately fragrant with a soft, tender texture, it makes a perfect gift.

The company’s president, Mr. Sakuma, attended Fukushima Commercial High School, the same school that Mr. Koseki graduated from.
The shop also features a special section introducing Yūji Koseki. In addition, they are planning to launch a third product inspired by Koseki.

Enjoy Great Music at the Gateway of Fukushima Station
Yūji Koseki’s 100th Birthday Anniversary Monument
Location: East Exit of JR Fukushima
At a well-known meeting spot inside JR Fukushima Station, there stands a monument sculpture of Yūji Koseki playing the piano. His gentle smile is both warm and captivating.
One of his famous songs is played every hour as a time signal. There is also a bench nearby, where visitors can sit, relax, and enjoy the music.



Koseki’s Melodies at Wall Street of Fukushima ♪
Yūji Koseki Birthplace Monument
Location: Ōmachi, Fukushima City
The grand piano-shaped Yūji Koseki Birthplace Monument is located on Renga Dori (Brick Street) in Ōmachi, Fukushima City.
The monument was installed in May 1998, when Renga Dori was developed. It stands at Koseki’s birthplace, in front of the former site of “Kitasan Gofuku-ten,” a kimono shop (now the location of the SMBC Nikko Securities Fukushima Branch).
His famous songs—“Sakuranbo Taisho (Cherry Chief),” “Tongari Bōshi (Pointy Hat),” and “Abukuma no Uta (Song of the Abukuma)”—are played daily at 9:00 a.m., noon, and 3:00 p.m.
Today, Renga Dori, where streetcars of the Keiben Railway once ran, is lined with financial institutions, securities companies, and life insurance firms. The area has an atmosphere reminiscent of Wall Street.
