A traditional soba noodle restaurant located at the corner of the intersection with Route 118, near Otsuji-ga-daki Falls—one of Japan’s 100 most beautiful waterfalls.
Known for its nostalgic flavors, this beloved local spot is always bustling with regular customers.
Their signature dishes include Baltan Tendon (tempura over rice) and Ultraman Soba (or Udon). Each bowl is playfully arranged with prawn tempura, fish cake, and a boiled egg to resemble the character.
The dipping sauce is carefully made from dried bonito flakes, kombu kelp, and mirin (a sweet Japanese cooking rice wine), with no MSG added.
Dip the silky noodles into the rich broth—and enjoy every slurp♪ 🍜✨

▲ Ultraman Soba (or Udon) (¥950, tax included)
Their homemade soba noodles are relatively thin and crafted with buckwheat flour from Aizu Misato, Fukushima Prefecture (depending on the season, wheat flour from other regions may also be used).
The flavorful broth pairs perfectly with the rich egg yolk of the local premium chicken brand, Aizu Jidori.
Don’t miss their homemade pickles, prepared with the freshest seasonal vegetables. A comforting and satisfying bowl from start to finish. 🍜✨
