This year marks the milestone 70th edition of the festival, with approximately 12,000 fireworks scheduled, making it the largest edition in the festival’s history in terms of scale and presentation.
On the day before the fireworks, August 1 (Fri), the Iwaki Odori Onahama Dance Festival will also take place, as dancers bring the spirit of summer to the port town with lively performances.
