[Kohatayama Okitsushima Shrine] You can worship a lot of gods in one place. A shrine for matchmaking, where you can experience nature with all your senses.

It is called “Kohata Benten” and was enshrined in 1256. The shrine enshrines the three Munakata goddesses, with Okitsushimahimenomikoto as the main deity, and the silence together with the singing of the birds will make you feel refreshed. You’ll feel a sense of accomplishment once you reach the top of the approach to the shrine on foot. At Kohata Cafe, you can enjoy hand-dripped coffee and homemade confectionery made by the priest.
