[Toyokage Shrine] A shrine where you can feel at ease with flowers and ornaments, and which looks different every time.

[Toyokage Shrine] A shrine where you can feel at ease with flowers and ornaments, and which looks different every time.

It was founded as Goryo-gu (a shrine dedicated to spirits) in 1056, and was renamed as the current Toyokage Shrine in 1868. As the word “Fuku” (wealth or fortune) appears multiple times in the address, the shrine is revered by local people as the guardian deity of the town of “Fuku”. There are beautifully arranged flowers and ornaments, and shrine stamps whose designs change with the seasons, so no matter how many times you visit, there are always new discoveries and changes, and you will never get bored.
