Iwaki Fireworks Festival

This year’s theme is “Rising Dragon: Soar high into the night sky.” The highlight is a synchronization of fireworks and music. Fireworks bloom in the night sky one after another in time with the music, and the sight of the harbor’s night sky being beautifully colored captivates the audience.

Asakano Summer Festival Fireworks Festival

AGC Electronics Koriyama Culture Park, where the event will be held, has a vast open space, so you can enjoy watching fireworks while relaxing with your family, and there are plenty of food and drink stalls at the venue. The fireworks are set off in the countryside, so you can enjoy them from anywhere in a 360 degree radius.

Kyuri Tenno Festival [ Cucumber festival ]

You can offer two cucumbers, a specialty of Sukagawa City, and take home another cucumber as an amulet. It is said that if you eat this cucumber, you will not get sick for a year.

Koriyama Uneme Festival

Koriyama’s largest summer festival, which is associated with the legend of Uneme from the Nara period, includes the Uneme Memorial Service and Odori Nagashi. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Koriyama City and the 60th Uneme Festival, and after the dance, there will be a finale that the dancers and audience can enjoy together. So everyone, don’t just stand and watch, but come and dance.
